一句话总结，金正恩承诺为朝鲜半岛完全无核化而努力，而特朗普总统答应向朝鲜提供安全保障，并表示美国将停止与韩国的军事行动。

美朝领导人峰会的有利一面是开始了双方的对话，双方都有意愿举行后续的会议。不利的一面是，朝鲜的过往言行让人怀疑其是否会遵守其承诺。

5月份消费者价格指数报告的重点信息是再确认了明天美联储加息25个基点的预期，并为美联储理事会成员普遍预期的2018年至少会有三次加息提供了支持。

5月份消费者物价指数上涨0.2%( Briefing.com预估为增长0.3%), 上涨的动力来自于汽油（增加 1.7%）和住房（增加0.3%）。不包括食品和能源的核心消费者物价指数也如预期般上涨0.2%，上涨动力主要来源于住房价格指数。

与去年同期相比，消费者物价指数上涨2.8%，而4月份同比上升2.5%。核心消费者物价指数同比上涨2.2%，4月份则上涨2.1%。

消费者物价指数报告公布后，期货市场和国债市场均未出现明显的反应，这也符合市场的预期。

其他消息方面，公司新闻目前没有能主导大盘走势的能量，但今天晚些时候法院对AT&T与时代华纳合并案的裁决将具备影响大盘的能力，该裁决肯定会引发媒体的广泛报道。

大多数公司新闻头条报道均对该公司股价产生影响；不过，高端家具零售商Restoration Hardware公司和餐饮娱乐公司Dave & Buster公布了超预期的盈利财报促使消费者非必需板块受到市场追捧。
