Spark Energy (NASDAQ: SPKE) is a natural gas and electricity supply company based in Texas. The company went public in 2014 with an add-on last year.   Its current market capitalization is $650M. The share price has been on a roll this month, with the company reporting better-than-consensus earnings and revenue. The street liked the data, but the shorts are still skeptical. With the price near its 52-week high, Short Interest is 47% of the float. Utilization is 91% and shares are tough to find.  Since March, the borrow fee has increased from 8% to 75% today. Large banks and agent lenders showing small this morning.
